dorkenwald und spitzer have been involved in teaching the interdisciplinary studio course think tank. this course empowered students to be engaged with contemporary issues and to address their position as designers within this field. the intention was to enable them to understand and implement applied and empiric research methods to facilitate conceptual and socially relevant design practices. in addition to the lectures we had guest speakers, for instance from bruce mau design and amnesty international.
