human factors are about creating a good fit between people, the things they do, the objects they use, and the environment they work in. human factors should be considered in the design of every product, system, or environment. failure to do so can lead to ineffective, inefficient, or even unsafe designs.
the objective was to expand awareness of others such that you are no longer designing just for yourself, to deepen research, observation, evaluation, and documentation skills.
